Title: Archery raingear by Browning?
Post by: highpoint forge on October 28, 2009, 05:43:00 PM
Who uses Browning waterproof jackets to hunt in? I need a rain shell, uninsulated preferably, that is not going to snag my string. I see the Pac Jacket and Dri Lite models, but figured I'd ask the experts here first before I order one and get some monstrous baggy thing I can't maneuver in.........suggestions? Ideally I would order Mossy Oak Brush or Break Up.

Thanks!

I have the pac jacket and pac pants.  I wore them on occasion but have since got Sitka rain gear.   I never had any problems with them, except for the fact that it is not the toughest material I ever wore.  I ripped mine the very first day I wore it.  It can be sewn, but it wasn't my favorite event that day...  They can be baggy, but I always wear binoculars and the harness keeps the jacket out of the way.  Is there any way to try it on before you buy it, that way you can be assured of the fit you need/like.

Hey Greg, do you like Sitka more and is it tougher?

Hey Greg, do you like Sitka more and is it tougher? I envision destroying anything not briar and abrasion resistant.
