This may be old info for some , but new to me. I shoot a 2020 aluminum arrow out of an Elburg longbow. I made a blunt out of a 30-06 rifle casing that I JB welded onto a slightly shorter, therefore stiffer shaft. I normally shoot a 145 gr. head on a 29" shaft, but 1/4" shorter and I can put a 180 gr. rifle casing for a blunt up front. Flies like a dart and punches hard. The case opening is a just-right tight fit for a 20 series Easton aluminum arrow. Hope some can use the info!
30 carbines are the same size neck and a lot lighter. Any thirty caliber will have that neck size. Gary
