they make the one piece in 60" & 20$ cheaper.
Cody....Samick makes some great bows at very reasonable prices....they also make ILF limbs that are considered the best in the world at this time.
It's always good to buy American when you can, but it isn't the only, or best answer to revitalizing the economy and getting our country back on its feet. Without imports and exports we can't exist economically; and to get more exports we need to have more attractive costs for the merchandise we want to sell. We priced ourselves into an imbalance.
Competition drives the engine of balance, and we have yet to learn that. And mostly, the ones who consistently chirp about buying American, have a whole houseful of high-tech televisions, phones, dvd's, et al, and are shooting Carbon Express arrows. Go figure.
I have a samick lightning take down. Very modest design, good price, and is fairly quiet.
Hey Cody, where is the shop that had Samicks? My buddy has been looking at them on the net and we would like to check them out in person. We live in Portand, so we aren't too far from Charlotte.
I have a Samick Deer Hunter DLX takedown, 45#. It is my first trad bow. Tried one other model, but this one fit/felt better in the grip to my hand. Went for modest price and upgradeable limbs as a starting point, until I "really" know what bow I want to spend $ on and what poundage is best. It shoots well, looks nice, but stacks a bit beyond 28".
Still trying for my first animal with it.

Cody, samick make great bows that will perform with many " customs " . My samick ILF limbs were cheap but fast and well made . i have had more trad recurves from them before and they were real shooters ... and easy on the hip pocket .
