buddy of mine got a bear kodiak 55# at 28" probally draws 29" whats a good number of carbon i know nothing about carbon saw 400 and 500 alot which is heavier
At his draw lenghth I would say the 400 with at least 175 grains up front would fit the bill. The 500 would be a little weak in spine and light weight overall. Beman and Easton make a great carbon arrow in the mentioned spine.
That would put him close to me. I use a 400 full length with 200 grains up front and they fly great.
I am shooting a 55 lb longbow with Easton FMJ's 500's at full length with 275 grains up front. I draw 30.25 inches. You need to pick how much weight you want up front before you decide on a shaft. It will greatly impact the spine you need.
These will also work, CX 150's, Gold Tip 55/75, Arrow Dynamic Traditional. Every manufacuter has there own way of marking the shafts.
We are having a sale on Gold tips right now. Check us out in the sponsor classified
