Does anyone know what Monty is up to these days? I haven't seen much of him in the TBM lately. I'm curious what bows and arows he shoots now? He's always shot Hill style longbows and extremely heavy arrows. Age takes its toll and hope he is healthy. He's been a fan of mine for twenty years. Its a shame he hasn't written more about his knowledge and experiances afield.
Ray...........
He has an article in the Oct./Nov. issue of Traditional Bowhunter Magazine.

I too am looking forward to his book. I talked with him for about an hour about his latest moose hunt a few weeks back. Sounds like he is doing just fine! A Southern gentleman!

When I talked to Monty at our United Bowhunters of Illinois Banquet in March he told me he was shooting a Old Bear Recurve at that time. Flint
He is in my opinion, an unsung hero as they say in traditional archery. Wished he'd come to Texas.
