I have freinds coming in on monday to shoot trad bows with me, my new takedown recurve needs a new string!, it had a little popping sound when I would draw it back, found out that there was a cut in the string, the middle of the string loop, not gonna take any chances with shooting it, I've had a string pop at full draw, it felt like a whip!!, I need a new string for a 60" takedown recurve that could get here by tuesday, who could I order a string from that could have it here by tuesday?

what type string material does it need to be, also, measure the string for and exact length.

I'll ask the guy I bought the bow from for what string material it is, I know its not fastflight, how long do strings take to make?

is the bow FF compatable ?

dont know?, is there a way to tell?

pm me your phone #, I might can help you out.

just asked the guy, waiting for a reply

what kind of bow is it, also, how old is the bow ?

the bow is almost new, only about 100 arrows through it, it is a takedown mikuta recurve

Check your string nocks to make sure there isn't a rough spot wearing your string also.

checked the nocks, no rough spots

Ed's bow are fast flight so any material should be fine for a string.
