I read this tonight written by James A. Lahde Ph.D.....Anyway, it hit home for me and i wanted to share with you fine folks. Enjoy!

"This is a hunt, an intimate, almost spiritual connection between woods, whitetail, and man. Here is a hunter who's been in the woods and done something; practiced a skill as ancient as the trees and rocks that border the creek; exercised persistence and showed an ability to discriminate between fair play and just plain shooting; a man who hunted and inspired, enlivened and galvanized friendships by integrating the hunt into customs of food-sharing and storytelling, rituals as old as the hunt itself."
