Top left sponsor ad on this page   :readit:
Teresa does the wool but doesn't sell it online.  Just hard to keep up to date since each piece is pretty much one of a kind.

Email the sponsor ad and Mrs. Asbell will send you an order sheet with the 4 standard plaid patterns available.  I ordered a hooded vest a few weeks ago. I like it.

I have been curious about this too.

Just went to their website and clicked on each page and unless I am just as blind as a bat I didn't see an email address.

Does anyone have one? I would be very interested in getting the order sheet.

Thanks

Hey All,

Teresa is working on getting some standard patterns in so she can offer her shirts online.  I'm not sure when that will happen though.  Soon I think because the Christmas season is looming...

We had a page up for a while that listed a description of the wool shirts but since the stock got so low we took that page down.

PM me with your email address and a message for Teresa and I'll forward to her for you.

This wool is good stuff.  I like it a lot!

I spent a weekend on a "camp and hunt" excursion in some on-and-off rain, and cool temps.  Stayed warm & dry!  Design is great, and the pockets are a great plus.

I was able to get mine at Denton Hill.  You have to get there early on the first day as they are flying off the racks as soon as they open.

Hooded vest?  Oooh, that got me thinking....

Its my favorite piece of wool. I own some SI stuff, but Asbell's is more versatile to me. Great price too.

BobW,
The hooded vest I got is great for hear in Alabama.  I wore it last weekend with an underarmour base and camo sweatshirt under it.  It was cool and windy (for Alabama at least) and kept me warm.  I like the vest because of better freedom of movement for my arms while shooting.  I do plan on ordering one with sleeves sometime soon.

These shirts are great.  I bought one last spring that Todd had and wore it for the first time this past week-end.  It was 20 degrees up in the Adirondack Mountains in NY, and I stayed plenty warm with just a poly shirt under it.  It is my new favorite hunting garment.  I thought I was going to be colder, so I put on my new filson vest under Teresa's shirt as well.  I walked about 10 steps and was way too warm LOL.  I need to order another shirt from Teresa.

Speaking of the hooded vest...  I ordered my shirt with no hood but with pockets because I like the option of carrying a little something or just sticking my hands in them.

Then I got a vest with a hood that fits over the shirt. (and pockets of course) Or I can wear the vest over some other shirt like a cotton flannel if it isn't too cold.  Anyway, when I flip up the hood, which is big enough to go over a G. Fred Asbell style hat, I feel like I'm more hidden.  It's hard to describe.  It covers more of my face but since it's not tight it seems to break up my outline more.

I even ordered another set so I can combine colors to suit me.

I may have to get even more...      :archer:

Good stuff!  todd

I bought one at ATAR. One thing I forgot is how it should be washed. Can anyone tell me this?

Fred's shirts are first rate. That said, if you want a wool pullover for really cold days afield, get one that is as thick as Hudson Bay Blankets. It's all the outer wear you'll need for winter hunting. Mine came from The Blanket Brigade many years ago. They have a sewn-in cape that falls a few inches off your shoulders front and back for a double layer of warmth and wet protection. A lifetime item.

Another vote for the Teresa shirt.  I've been hunting in this one for at least six seasons now and have no plans to retire it.  I love sharing this picture.
