Killed a fine doe this evening on a creek crossing. I had my Grandson most of the day ,then went with the Wife shopping and got home just in time to sit a loc-on I have in the edge of the swamp behind my house. It paid off.

I got three Centuar broadheads from Pastor Steve a wek or so ago and I am very impressed with them. It was about a 15-17 yard shot and the broadhead stuck in the ground on the other side.RC

Nice shooting. Sharpen it back up and go get another one.
Now that's a hole....... Well done RC
Awesome hole, good shootin and congrats!!!!!
RC,I also have some heads from jim.
What gr.weight insert did you use on yours,or did they come already insalled?
BTW they do look tough and I can't wait to use em'.
Thanks,ken
Congrats on a nice doe!! Man what a hole!!!
now, where's the multiblade guys who say that 2 bladers make slits not holes?
BEAUTIFUL SHOT, RC!
How many freezers do you own?????
Great shooting!! I like the looks of that hole.
Brett
awesome heads, i shot a 220# mn whitetail this yr with one. congrats!
Well-done!
Who's the handsome guy with glasses in the pix? ;)
Congrats Robert
Nice shot. As Tommy Boy would say " That's going to leave a mark " or in your case DID.
Nice going RC and you get some extra Father/Husband of the Year award points for killing a doe after that day you put in.
makes me want to sit on my creek crossing lol nice shot, man what a hole congrats,Ralph
I like that!
Great job R.C.
That broadhead looks awesome, and obviously makes a hole.
Thanks for posting.
Way to go, RC.
Great job, I think I can assume the answer to this already, but what was the blood trail like?
Very impressive. That is one wicked broadhead.
Nice work, is that a single bevel head?
Jeez RC...nice shot!
Good job Robert! I'm gonna have to try some of those heads.
Thanks fellas. Its a single left wing beval . I believe it weighs around 180 grains not counting the 42 grain adapter I glued in.The blood trail was about 3-5 yards wide. No joke.RC
You ruined a perfectly good shoulder.
wow!
nice shoot'n, and nice doe! Congratulations!!!
Now that's impressive, nice work RC!
Travis
Gotta love those high length to width ratio heads, congrats!

a single bevel can't do that, RC. I think you are mistaken.
Stand in the corner and repeat after me- I must not shoot single bevels, I must not shoot single bevels...
:bigsmyl:
:clapper: Man what a hole!
So much for the double bevel and mulitblade peoples conspiracy theories.

I believe the fact that it was a 1.75" head might have had a little something to do with the size of the hole.
Good shootin' RC. That is an impressive looking hole.
Thank you Chris
Single bevel, or double bevel....whatever....if it's sharp, that big, and in that spot, it's gonna leave a lot of blood....period!
Congrats again Robert :clapper:
Looking for the web site to buy these heads? Could someone forward it on ...Thanks!

Nice shootin' RC!
Do you have a name yet for that AWESOME BW PL?
How about THE VENTILATOR given the nice performance thus far?
Continue to enjoy your 2009 huntin' season!
Shoot straight, Shinken
Congrats
nice hole !...how do you sharpen them, I use to sharpen the 190 grizz with ease but don't succeed for this one...what is the final angle of your bevel?
Don`t know about the angle or any of that tech stuff . I use a rounded diamond rod on the beveled side and take the "bur" off with a flat Arkansas stone. A few licks on a piece of leather and its ready to eat again.RC
That's quite a gash!!
Good work
chris <><
Cool You can shoot a deer and skin them at the same time! Nice shootin.
Charlie
Nice work. Looks like the head may have went through the shoulder blade?
:campfire: :coffee:
RC never needs to buy meat while grocery shopping, that's for sure. Nice shot.
I'm heading my truck in your direction next week!
No shoulder blade hit here. The doe was slightly angled toward me but not enough not to shoot. The exit was about 4" behind the crease.RC
