I was thinking about doing a string giveaway when I got my first traditional deer but I'm not sure when and if that will happen. :help: 3 years of chasing deer and two years of turkeys will do that to a person. No shots at deer and 0-4 on birds!
So instead of that I'm doing a "I'm a frustrated hunter" :banghead: string giveaway!

You should have your deer soon.
The key is do not think of the deer, just focus on the Back Straps; in your favorite setting.
You know.
Cast skillet (Med Hot), Backstraps sliced thin, small amount of onion, just a hint of fresh garlic, and of course fresh basil and Mushrooms.
De-glaze with a heavy red wine thick'en with corn starch.
Over the top of wild rice.
Just a thought.

That does sound good...
I was thinking about the "football" roast that comes from the back leg. In an oven roaster bag w/ half an onion on 325 deg for around 1.5 hrs...shred and add some Sweet Baby Ray's cook for another 20-30 minutes and serve bread of your choice!

I'm a frustrated hunter to. 10 days of stand hunting oak flats, cornfields and food plots, and I've not seen a deer yet. I was real lucky the other day when the wind was blowing hard and seen 2 deer while I was sneaking around. A buck and a doe.
So yes, I'm frustrated and about to give up on hunting Pennsylvania in these parts. Maybe a new string would give me hope and put a little fun into this affair once again. Please put my name in and thanks for the offer. :)
