Title: nope, I don't got it, HELP
Post by: Cottonmouth on October 09, 2009, 12:56:00 PM
Trying to use Stu's Dynamic spine calculator, and I can't figure out the AMO static spine of my ST Axis and MFX Bemans.  Algebra is the reason I dropped out of college, HELP   :banghead:

Easton and Beman (same company actually) write the static spine on their carbon shafts....340, .400, .500 etc.

Cottonmouth,  You don't need that if you're using aluminum or carbon arrow listed in the arrow selection box.  You only need that if you're using wood and you get that from a spine meter.  Just select the shaft you're using from the drop down list and put the proper info in the next 4 boxes.  No algebra or calculus required.

mine are both marked 300's, and I thought that was the diameter (.300)...

.300 is the static spine of the shaft.
