Going to try to hunt Turkey with bow this year and was wondering what others experiences with ground blinds camo patterns are.
I hope to hunt both in the spring and fall, but can only afford on blind. Options are a spring pattern which is primarily green leaves. The other pattern is a Fall style which is mostly brown with a little green mixed in. Question is if your experiences are that if the pattern does not blend in with the surrounding foilage will Turkeys be afffected much? I suspect the concealment of movement is the biggest issue, but just wondering if blendning in with surroundings is that critical for Turkeys?

Don't matter turkeys have good eyes but they aren't very smart. Except maybe blaze orange, that wouldn't be good.

I use the advantage leafy material, two 6' sections. I use small spring clamps to hold it up on available saplings.
Tuesday a gobbler walked in from behind me and passed about 6yds from me looking for the hen he thought was there. Didn't pay any attention to me in my makeshift blind but sure didn't like my decoys, PUTT, PUTT and out of there.

It does not matter, ya could sit in a regular camping tent, but thye would pick ya off with out the blackened interior. Shawn

the blackened interior is a must otherwise your silouette will be seen.
