Title: Masters of the Barebow
Post by: BDann on October 08, 2009, 06:42:00 PM
Thank you Masters!  I just watched vol. 1 and 2 the other day and dedided to put some of those tips into action.  My grip was all wrong it appears, which is why I was hitting left so often.  Now I hold the bow against the palm of my hand, with a deeper hold on the string.  It was like a switch was flipped!

If you don't have these videos, I highly recommend them.

#1 was good, but 2 and 3 are much better. After hunting season is over, we are going to set up a few things in the basement for our winter family league, but mostly this off season we are all going to work on a lot of the instruction from the videos.

I dont really want to start changing stuff right now, but through the winter should be perfect. great series of videos, which will make a lot of people better archers.

IMO I and II are interesting and entertaining, but III has the "meat-n-taters".  I reccomend all three as being good to watch, but if you can only get one of them and want the best instructional video on the market, go with III.

I have all three, and can say they have help me maintain focus through the shot and at least be more in control of the shot during high pressure. In the past I would not even feel the shot on big game, hit or miss. But the bear and deer I took recently I can honestly say I remember living the shot and the follow through. When I have young archers come to the house I can show them how to shoot, but its good to let them take the MBB volumes home with them to listen to the experts. All three of my DVDs are loaned out at present. Thank you Denny and Darryl for your fine effort. Mike

Thanks guys.  It's great to hear good comments like these on something that we put so much time and effort into.  Denny and I hope the MBB series of DVDs will benefit all those who want to improve their accuracy and enjoyment of archery.

Herdbull.  I truly appreciate your comments.  It means a lot when someone of your experience and success recommends a product.  Thank you, Mike.

All of the Masters on the DVDs deserve our thanks for giving back to the sport of archery something that will benefit others for years to come.
