Title: Mohawk Brace Height ???

Just picked up a Mohawk here on the classifieds and wondering where to start with the brace height. Any imput is greatly appreciated.

Mine is at 7" (from the belly of the bow).  Nock point is 3/8" higher than horizontal.  That's a bit higher than Vince recommends iirc...

James my Mohawk shot the best at 7 also , great bows too .

James, I would contact Vince at mohawkbows@aol.com he has alsway been willing to help me with my mohawk. I have an older Mohawk and it likes being at 6-1/2". Once you get it tuned you will love it!

I've played around with mine a bit, with my arrow combo the BH is best at 7" as well! Great shooting bows, I LOVE mine!

The sweet spot for mine is 7" also.

Excellent, My new Mohawk just arrived today!  Boo limbs, 64 inches and 40 @ 28, I have a 30 inch draw.  Can't wait to see how she will handle some 500 grain hunting arrows!  I will start at 7 inch brace height.

you'll find 7 is the lucky number....tried mine at 6 3/4 but shoots best right at 7.....loves heavy arrows
