That one shot got him right in the eye. That 3D deer looks almost as mutilated as mine
Those pics sure warm my old heart.
It was a great day for him. Spent the a.m. helping me drag a deer up from the timber. Was in on his 1st gut and butcher job. Then the mail man pulled in! He goes to year-around school so he is on a 3 week break. 3 weeks off in the fall with a new bow. That is what every little man in America needs!
Thanks again to Vermonster and the 2 Mikes! Love the little Maddog pup! Looks alot like Mom's Maddog Midsize. Kolton could not be happier! He thinks we need to take to the woods for a hunt with our matching Maddogs. I think he needs a bit more practice before he gets turned out on the deer, 19#@25" just will not do the job:^)
Katie
Looks good katie. My kids have discovered they like doing flight shooting with their pups better then target shooting. They like to see who can shoot the farthest. They think it's fun to watch the arrows fly. I don't mind, they want to shoot more often and they are building their shooting muscles. Looks like once that corn is down your son could do some distance shooting as well.
I've learned in life that from time to time we act as angles and agents of God's will on Earth, creating profound effect on the lives of others. You never know what will affect that change, that epiphany, that inspiration or hope.
To be ever vigilant of ones actions just to be on the square and level with your neighbor is hard enough. To extend beyond that duty and actually discover joy and selflessness in acts of charity and gracious giving is extroadinary.
I have seen many (too many to count) posts by "Vermonster" displaying heart-touching and life changing feats of miraculous alchemy. You are one of my heros, Dave. :scared: now that's sooommmeee lovin' right there...
Oh jeez, that's "angels" not "angles" unless you want to be "right" about it :smileystooges:
