They're having "Bamma Jam" at the Autuaga Co. Bowhunters Range, near Posey's Crossroads, just north of Montgomery, this weekend.  All Trad.

If you are at the Petro truck stop at the Bucksville exit you are about 2 or 3 miles from Tannehill park. This is the location of some of the best traditional shoots in the south. The ASTB's Children's Hospital benefit shoot in April, Howard Hill Shoot in June and the ASTB state championship in August. Terry Harris, who puts on the Hill shoot, is also planning a new preseason shoot the last week in Feb for the up coming year.

The ASTB shoots pull in about 250 shooters, the Hill shoot over 550, lot of like minded folk, tons of vendors and plenty of free food.

Cool!!
I'll have to put those in the 'to do' category.

Don't always know where I'll wind up; so, I try to keep touch when/where ever I can.
