I shot a doe a few minutes after 7:00 at 15 yards from my ground blind.
I heard her go down in the woods, I waited another ten minutes then I got out of my blind too look at my arrow. As I'm standing in the middle of the trail looking at my blood cover arrow I see this nice little 8 point coming across the field in my direction. Had I stayed in the blind a little longer I might have gotten a shot at this buck also.
Still a great day she is the first deer I ever killed from the ground with a bow!

CONGRATS! but PLEASE resize your pic to no more than 600 pixels wide - you can edit the image right on Photobucket.
Way to go. If you had shot the buck your season would have been over; now you get to hunt longer. At least that is what I would tell myself.
Good job on the doe, plus you have a real good reason to go back tonight!
Congrats nice bow.
Ditto what centaur said. Blake
