Anybody with experience with First Lite wool clothing?
Warmth? Comfort? Durability? Scratchy?

No. But it looks good on their website.  A great combo, merino wool and ASAT. I would not be afraid to try it.

I'd love to tell you how their merino wool longjohns are, I was the winning bidder of some on the St Judes auction this year, unfortunatly, they never sent them to me.  :(

Larry, did you contact Doug Campbell about this? I'm sure he would get it straightened out for you. Surely it was oversight on their part.

nah I didn't bother getting ahold of Doug....at the time they were out of mediums, they said they would be in late July. I sent them an e-mail mid August, and they said they'd be shipping them out the following week, well now it's mid October...the money was for a good cause and that's the most important thing.

I have a base layer shirt. I love it. I was using under armour some before and the merino wool is much better. The price is the only downfall.

Larry, although the money was for a good call, I would definately give them a call.

Awesome gear. I hunted most of the Colorado elk season and wore it everyday. Super soft, warm and tough. I think that it is the most comfortable and  versatile hunting gear available. Worth the $$ in my book. The only piece I don't own is the pants, and I will be getting them in the future.

wow, i'd like some for sure.  But, I sprung on Day one wolfskin a couple of years back, so It might be a few years before that stuff wears out!

This first lite looks like the bees knees though.  Perhaps they just need a bowhunters plaid colors and some olive or gray pants?  :-)

Larry....please contact them again if you would.

Also, please keep me posted if they don't show.  We don't like folks screwing with the St Judes auction.  We don't want it to happen again to someone else next year by the same donor, so please let me know if you don't receive the items you paid for.

I am not accusing anyone or any company of 'foul play'...but I am concerned about our members and our auction.

Thanks,

Terry

I got an e-mail from Kenton today, he wasn't aware that they hadn't shipped, and that's good enough for me. In fact he offered to send along a shirt also because of it. I told him I appreciated the offer, but felt it was above and beyond anything he needed to do. End of story.
