Title: Muzzy Phantom 125's
Post by: LA Trapper on October 03, 2009, 01:57:00 AM
How do they fly for you and do they hit with your field points?  Have you gone to them or away from them?

Thanks;

Billy

I'm shooting them this year and really like them. The fly straight (no planing) and hit right with my field points. No difference in impact when shooting them with or without the bleeder blades.

Here's my setup: 47# @ 30" d/r longbow. 31.5" Carbon Express Heritage 150s

Me too! I switched from the 220's cause I'm not a big FOC man. I could detect a little wiggle every now and then with the heavier head. The 125's shoot perfect every time.
I don't know if they shoot like my field points cause I ain't that good of a shot but they hit where I want them too  :-)

I'm shooting 55#@32" with a hertiage 350 shaft.

The Phantoms are one of the most accurate bh's I have ever shot. They just seem to be on a string to whatever I am shooting at. They hold an excellent edge and penetrate like crazy. My wife shoots 45@ 26" and got a pass thru on an adult black bear with four blades. If you can sharpen them you will have a hard time finding a better all around head.

I am shooting them.  They shot as good as field tips.  Some days I almost think better.  I love them.  I am not looking at any other BH's as long as I can get my arrows tuned with a 125 head or even lighter without the bleeders.

Guys, I think you are correct.  I shot some today. They fly and shoot great.  I am impressed.

The 220's shoot great for me. Too bad I cant sharpen them worth a crap.
