This is my good buddy Malery Oxendine with a rare traditional trophy for the Carolina's, the old Coy-dog... awesome shot Mal!
Good shot. Those guys take over an area PDQ. Make great quivers though.
Way to go Mal!! A fine trophy.
Mal told me he shot that thing at 75 yards on a dead run... :goldtooth:
Well-done, Mal!
Thats cool, I missed one at 11 steps. he was hip to me and put the breaks on.I trimmed his toe nail.
Congrats MAL MAL
what make of bow is that???? congrats!! :)
nice Congrats...
The bow looks like a 21st. century. just guessing tho.
Very nice! Difficult suckers to kill!
Thanks guys. Shot him the morning of September 30th. I was deer hunting and he came by my stand about 8;40 am. Some dogs started barking from a distance and he stopped to listen. That gave me the shot. I had seen coyotes in the area before but no shot. Three years ago I shot at one and missed him while he was stalking turkeys. The bow is a 21st century 66" 21st edge Buddy and Jim made 61 lb @ 29".
Two Hatchet congrats buddy thats a tough animal to kill anywhere even more so with a bow.
Thanks Mark for posting pictures for me.
Congrats
Awesome coyote, congrats! I love coyote hunting!

tks, Jamie
Well done
Tough target right there. Excellent take, congratulations!
Good job Malery. Tell the guys I said hello.
Big'un
thanks for all the compliments.
Nice trophy and good shot!
Gotta do everything right to nail a 'yote.
Surprised the heck out of him...he figured since you had a bow, he was safe. Sometimes they are too smart for their own good.
Hats off to ya'!!!
Hey Big Rick....I think Mal got him a big Nanny Thursday night too.....Mal is the man.....i dont know if he has pictures or not.....we fixn to go hunting together...Mal, Gary, Keith and myself...i will check on his nanny pictures...maybe get them posted..
tks, jamie
Jamie, I did'nt get to take any pictures of the Doe. I decided to wait awhile before trailing. Butch and Bruce came and helped with his dog. The hit was better than I thought, and the trail was easy to follow. Will take some pics of the next one.
You boys are having way too much fun down there. Mal, how's the collards looking this year? better keep an eye out. We had some problems with worms on ours, but sprayed em in time I think. Good luck to ya. DB
Very nice
Don, Patsy and her family set up at the John Blue cotton festival this weekend . She said they stayed busy and had a line most of the day with Collards, cornbread, fatback, fried green tomatos, cake slices, and alot of other goodies. Yes we had a worm problem with ours too. I have a relative that has some nice collards so they got some from him for this festival. Hows the hunting been Don.
Mal, that "Century 21" is a kill'n machine... congrats on the doe!
Sweet! nice shot TD.
Thanks for the pics, story and inspiration.
Mal,
I'm getting hungry reading about the John Blue cotton festival. Will your wife be cooking again at the SCBH shoot again in February? Good luck to you and the guys. My wife almost got a big doe with her new Jeep Friday night. I have not had any luck yet, but I did stick a running squirrel with my longbow yesterday.
Big'un
Rick, we were talking about that last night. Plans are being made to be there for the febuary shoot. Talked to Butch last night about it too. SCBH has a meeting this weekend and that will be one of the topics of discussion.
