I found my bottle in my camo top today.
Can't remember-does it need to be refridgerated?
'Cause im gonna sprinkle some out in the honey hole tonight-and Saturday morning- IT'S ON!!
God bless,
Farmer
As long as it is kept cool and out of sunlight and air tight it can last longer, but much better to store unused scents in the refriderator and they will last a long time. If it smells really strong of ammonia, it is bad and would not use it!
I don't think it keeps and may well be too old even before you open it new.
It never smelled like an estrous urine thats for sure. I once had a whitetail buck in front of me. Wind in his favor. I watched him test the wind and when he got a whiff of that stuff coming off me he ran away like he'd been gut shot. last time I ever used a stink product. Doe urine in the wild smells totally different.
And don't ask me how I know that.
Unless your product has doe eating the same stuff as your local deer the smell will be a flag, not a lure.
Joshua, one time whitetail nut.
thanks for the replies!
Yeah, I'm probably just gonna go buy another bottle.
Again, this is one of those things that I will never know whether or not it really works-but I have saturated a cotton ball with it, fastened it to a tree with a toothpick, up high and in the breeze-and the fella's have really come a runnin' the past couple times I went out.
but who knows, could'a just been in the right place at the right time.
God bless ya'll

All doe urine expires. Only buy urine the year of the hunting season.
One of the biggest mistakes in using lure is to put out scent left over form last season.
take a swig and see if it's still good
what should it taste like?
Like pi$$!! ;)
I was gonna answer that it would take someone from K-State to know but sweeney beat me to it!
My uncle always said doe urine gives you a bad after taste, fresh or not. Kinda like why he never used jock straps. He found that the straps make his ears sore and they always smelt really bad.
God rest Uncle Bubba's soul................
I can only imagine how it would go with my wife if I store doe urine in the fridge.
No, it doesnt keep. It might have been in October Whitetails but one of the Wensel brothers suggested collecting old used "feminine napkins" that had been used and hanging them up on trees as a deer lure. Never quite got around to trying that one.....
Tinks is terrible IMO.
Open the cap and leave it off for awhile. Let it "breathe". Add a little salt, shake it up and try it. Bet it works. Don't put it on yourself, its not really a cover scent, but an attractant. Make a mock scrape or hang some from a wick. Bob McQuire was the guy with the "feminine scent" idea. He killed a lot of big bucks.
