Title: Bear recurve replacement limbs-anybody
Post by: VAFarmer on October 01, 2009, 09:00:00 AM
make these?

I have an opportunity to buy an older Bearcat and/or a 76'er both are takedowns, and at a decent price.  My oldest son has suddenly decided that he wants to try archery/hunting (woohoo!!)
and these are a good price-and I figured maybe good starters.  The problem is that the draw weight is a little more than he can handle.  Is there some place that would manufacture lighter limbs,so that we can change weights?

Thanks ya'll and God bless ya,

Farmer

I have a Bearcat, it is 40#.  What are your limbs?  Maybe we could trade?

Big Jim, a sponser, had a 76 with 30# limbs, don't know if he still has it.  Bill

I haven't bought it officially yet, it is a #45 set, but he needs 25-30 to start off with I think.  I have a 41# that he can't get back to his anchor point yet, so that may be too much.

Thanks for the offer and God bless,
