Congradulations. Hap
I will try to get some pictures up tomorrow, but as for details I will be glad ot fill in.. I had been up in the stand over looking a small food plot for about an hour and a half. The sun had just settle behind a ridge of trees, but there was still plenty of light left. I was just sitting thinking how nice it was to be back in the tree after what seemed to be a long off season .As I was sitting there and enjoying the peaceful, somewaht cool evening, I looked down to my left and there she was about 14 yds away. She came in totally silent. I mange to ease up without her detecting. By this time, my heart was about to bust out my chest. I kept telling myself, to pick a spot. Next thing I knew was that my arrow was on the way. It all happened naturally, without any thinking at all.. I watched the arrow heading right behind the sholder, but she dropped and turned, so my arrow got her in the spine. So I put another arrow in the kill zone to end it asap. It was offical, I had harvested my first deer with a trad equipment...... I felt like that I had harvested my first deer ever, man what an experience.....
Thanks all, I can hardly wait to go on my second hunt... I know I had begininers luck, but I will take it anytime lol.....
Congrats....well done! :wavey:
Now you are really hooked!
