Title: Visitor at my dear stand
Post by: woodsman 365 on September 29, 2009, 09:05:00 PM
I set up my deer stand sunday and went back today to check it out. I was happy to see my apples gone but noticed my corn on the ground. I looked the area over and found bear scat. The thing is, this bear scat is the diameter of a pop can. So I have a fairly big bear to take care of and an unused bear license in my pocket. I think I'll put a couple of gallons of peanut butter at my bait. Just looking for other baits that won't drive the deer out of the area.

AWESOME. Big Un, take your time and put a nice heavy COC broadhead into his lungs. You already know he likes apples, give him some nice juicy ones, maybe a few berries if you have any.

He's getting 20lbs of macs and 5 lbs of peanut butter for tonights meal. First day of fall bear season tomorrow. I hope Its not a sow. If it is , she gets a pass. I could see where it layed down to eat last night.
