I know there has been a bunch of tree seat post but I saw this at a show and it looks good, so I got one to try. Its called the "Smart seat". google ;the hunters smart seat, see what you think, thanks ron w
Thanks for the heads up Ron! I like it!
I currently use a Millenium tree seat but this looks way more versatile.
I gotta have one.

Ron, let me know how you like it. I am looking for a light seat to take along with me in the woods. Looks like the deer drag part of it is impractical but if the seat fits sit in it.

I just got the new Lone Wolf Tree seat for my B-Day, and I must say my wife did great. I love this seat, very light- 3 lbs and silent, and quick to go on and off the tree. Just my thoughts. Chad
Hey Chad, lone wolf can always be counted for a good product, I love their stands. I posted a little earlier(seasons first). Maybe you recoginize one of your bows:) I love it, shoots great!
We bought a couple of these years ago for under 10 bucks. called the sling seat, no O rings just straps sewn into seat, worked great as a dear drag, they are pretty handy.
Wow. It looks like a "Butt Hammock". I've been playing around with camping hammocks for a couple of months and I had thought about something like this for hunting.
Honestly, I don't see the big deal. Looks like something I'd never use.
For ground hunting I either use my Niff-T-Seat or sit on a log, rock, stump etc. I prefer to get low to the ground if hunting from the ground and this hammock thing looks like it keeps you up higher than I'd want to be. Might as well be standing. Standing would provide better shooting mobility too. Also, how hard is it to find two trees the right distance apart? I like a portable seat that can be put anywhere.
Now, in the interest of keeping an open mind, I'm wondering if maybe you could tie one end to a tree about two feet off the ground and the other end to a stake in the ground at a distance that would hold it with just a little bit of slack. Then maybe sit part way up from the ground and lean back like in a recliner. Sort of a hammock back rest? Of course, it'd be tough to shoot a bow from that position but not a rifle. Might be good for turkey hunting.
Dave, you don't have to use 2 trees, although where I hunt finding 2 trees is the least of my problems. You can use a tree and a blowdown, a crotch of blowdown, tree and a fence post or any number of things. As far as the hieght you can put it as high or as low as you need, I'm going to try it out very shortly and will report back...

Hay Chad does that seat have a good range of leveling? I assume it is the same as their current hang on stands with the bolt under the seat. I think I have to put one of those on my birthday list.
Here's another hammock seat

The Lonewolf seat is a very must have for a ground hunter. The seat is very nice lots of adjustment up and down as it has the bolt under the seat. And the weight and ease of using is second to none. Chad
Today I got to try my new tree seat, the "Hunters Smart seat". I took my bow and sat this afternoon for a few hours. This seat works great! I found 2 trees on a ledge overlookig a logging road, ground covered with acorns...good spot. Took about 2 min. to set up and I could stradel it or sit on it very much like a swing seat.I could raise or lower it to make it just right. I think this is a keeper. It weighs almost nothing and is silent.
Lone Wolf Tree Seat.....$80.00. For something to barely get both cheeks on 8^). You can tell I came from a poor family...YIKES. I think I'll stick to the stumps or my old folding stool.
I just got one from Gorilla Tree Stands. So far I like it alot. I'm a bigger guy and it has a rating for 300 lbs. $45 from cabelas.
This seat I got at an outdoor show for $ 29.95 and so far it looks like money well spent. I do still like my homemade Torges tree seats but this one carries better. The Torges seats I have foolled around with and made them wider and lighter and padded seats....they still are the cheapest.......but not as cheap as a stump..!!!
