I shot my first squirell of the season today. This totally made the day worth taking off to go to the doctor. I shot the squirell with a 700gr twig second, ramin shaft and a lead filled 155gr .38 casing and a Shane Hyme 45lb.longbow. Shot him at 33 yards. Man I'm syked. Just thought I'd share.

Thanks guys. I actually thought I hit the tree at first.
Nice shot!!
Heck, anybody can hit a great big ol' deer but how many can shoot squirrels at 33 yards!!
Good shootin.
That's one heck of a shot at that range! A'salut!
33yds
What JoeV said, 33 yds, should be good enough for big game I'm thinking.
BOB
Great shootn Bud, :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Awesome Irish! :clapper:
Wow that was a great shot. Bet you can't wait to eat it.
Nice shot
Thanks Guys. Hey Charlie see you dont have to have a broadhead. But thats just what the squirell was telling me. He thinks your crazy. But then he got real quiet and took a long nap. I'll make sure I wake him up for dinner.
Now that's what I'm talkin' about. Anyone can hit a deer, but a squirrel at 33 yards. Top job, man.
I don't know what syked means, but I can understand why you are 8^).
George, it means expsyted..... :readit:
Good shot but don't you think that the arrow was borderline too light for him?!
33 yards is WAY farther than an successful shot that I've ever had on a squirrel, good job.
George you crack me up. Hey my momma wasn't to happy about all the blood that ended up on the porch. Oh well atleast she hasn't seen some of the things I have done in the sink.
Scott F I actually think the arrow might have weighed more than the squirell. Maybe I should start shooting squirells out of my bow at arrows.
Thats funny man, great shot.
these is very nice, you got me syked just by reading the story and seeing the pic
GREAT!!!!!!!
Ya'll don't give this young fella too many kudos. His head'll swell up all kinda big and Rob'll have a hard time keepin him under controll.
JK Irish!
Congrats on a heckuva shot!

Never said you NEEDED broadheads, just that I like my odds better! Great job bud! See you in 5 days. Maybe I'll get a bushytail too!
