The arrows are flying and the turkeys are a dying! Got #2 for the season this morning, 15 yard shot, same blind, went about 20 yards and seemed dead. Got up to retrieve it and the race was on. Turkey ran/fell/flew/hopped for about 100yds with this old fat man behind, took one shot and missed by a hair, finally cut across the corner of the field, turkey turned trotting away and let another one fly at about 30yds and hit between the shoulder blades with a Wensel Woodsman. Down for the count, flopped a few times and it was over. I do have pics of todays bird and yesterdays, just got my new camera, havent figured out how to post yet, actually havent had time, been working, hunting and elk scouting here in KY for my wifes bull hunt next weekend. If I cant figure out how to post pics, will get back with someone on Sunday evening, will be gone today and tommorow elk scouting. Just thought I would share. Sam.
