Went deer hunting this morning, fog rolled in where I was, and deer just dont move around here in the fog. I left there about 8:10am, got in my blind on my back field, thought I might get a shot at deer there, big white oak just starting to drop acorns. Just got set down in the blind and looked up and here comes 9 Hens! I let them come in close and take a breath, ease my Quinn up anchor and WHACK! At 10 yards drilled one in the back, jumped, bounced and sailed about40 yards and crashed, others took off every where. This is my second turkey with a bow, ever, got my first last year with a longbow. I gave it about 20 minutes, fixin to get up and here comes another flock from a different direction, 18 birds in it. They mosey on by, I sit for 45 minutes and let them get out of site. Guess where I will be in the morning come daylight? Just thought I would share.
