Drove back to the cabin along the river today to get my dose of river therapy, took the bows along and got some practice in for the Iowa season. This is my new wife Greywolf getting ready. (http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z232/mrvicattheriver/cherylshooting.jpg)
Here's one to scare the mice away. Was shooting my Osage recurve made by Ryan O. (http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z232/mrvicattheriver/IMG_3403-1.jpg)
I know where I will be in IA on the first Saturday of October! Good luck to you both this season.
It can't get here quick enough. Good luck
Only 8 days till season! My wife has been practicing 1-2 hours a day with that bow. Doin pretty good, too. Still needs to get consistent on form but improving. She's getting real excited, and so am I. Soon as the camera's charged, I'll get some pics of her shooting on here.
I checked online earlier tonight... Is a out of state deer tag really over $500.00 in Iowa???
John III
yes they are, draw only, takes about 2 years to draw most of the time, and they keep part a portion of the money for processing fee each time u dont draw im pretty sure.
Good luck Mr. Vic and Greywolf, congrat's on the marriage.I'm just up river in Eddyville and I have a few good one's on the hit list. Jason look forward to seeing you opening weekend. It's going to be a great time. Yes, $525 buck gets you a buck and a doe tag and a chance to hunt some of the best whitetail country in the world.
