Post by: fireball31 on September 20, 2009, 08:30:00 PM
easton legacy 2219's 200grn tip.  Bow is elburg cheetah 68@28. I'm drawing 29 and the arrows are cut to 30.

You could shoot a 2315, not sure about 2219...

I shoot 2219s cut 29 1/2 with 200 gr up front out of a 65# recurve.  If you have good arrow flite and your broadheads hit with your feild points I wouldnt worry about it.

It sounds pretty close to me.  Only you can see if it works okay.  The Elburg is not center cut so the smaller diameter 2219 should work better than the 2315.  You tell us after you shoot them.

Everything seems to be shooting well.  broadheads are right with the field points.  I appreciate the help guys.  This is the first time I've messed with aluminum.  I think I have found my new arrow material of choice.

fireball31, if all is well, don't mess with it. I've been using aluminum since the mid 60's and haven't found anything better yet.  I have the same wife as well; both have been consistent and worth the investment 8^).
