Just got my new bow from Rose oak this morning. First impression: Flawless workmanship, beautiful beyond saying, paduak and zebrawood w/ zebrawood limbs. I strung it up and drew it back, smooth! Surely didnt feel to me like 69#, thats for sure. Took it home and took my first test shot. Shooting 6075 term hunter selects, 630 grains. First shot hit right where I was aiming, and I actually said "whoa" out loud. Fast, not sure how fast, but definatly faster than anything else I have owned (bracks, martins, bears, wapitis, habu, etc). Also Very quiet, hardly a whisper as I dropped the string. I really felt at home shooting this bow from the very first shot, something I am not used to experiencing. Those of you who have not checked out Brandons bows, you owe it to yourself to take a look. They shoot as good as they look. Here are a few pics for yall.

That is the most amazing work of art I have ever seen.
-
Unbelievably beautiful! I sure wish Brandon also made longbows.
-
WOW.....very nice!!!

You aren't actually going to take that in the woods, are you? Isn't there some kind of law against willful destruction of art? Man, I'd be scared of hurting that beautiful baby.

That is my only hangup on this one. I might have to have Brandon make me another one in the future that is not quite so pretty, so I dont have to worry about scratching or banging it up. LOL! Until then, I will just have to be careful.

use some spandex limb skins on that beauty Mitch.you can pull em down the fades to protect some of the riser as well.
-
That is not a bad idea Steelhead, I am already pretty protective of this one, its sitting in my truck right now, unstrung and in its bowsock, something I have never done before with any other bow. I am gonna try to be a little more careful with this one.

I think you might need a new handle...like Rose Oak shooter :biglaugh:
Congrats on the new bow..it sure is purdy!
-
Sure is nice! What is the length? You know that no matter how pretty it is, a bow like that deserves to be put to use.
-
Wow! That's an incredible looking bow. I've never seen anything like it. Very beautiful!!

Thanks for all the comments guys, what can I say, I am pretty proud to have this bow. Rxhntr, the king panther only comes in a 64" length, which is great for my long draw. He also makes a one piece at 60" and a takedown at 58", 60",62", and 64". www.roseoakbows.com. (http://www.roseoakbows.com.)

Very nice looking bow! I have a takedown ordered from Brandon. should be ready end of May. first part of June. Can hardly wait. I've never heard anything bad, only high praise for his bows. ENJOY your new toy!

Wow. Gotta love what you are doing to build something that looks like that. Gotta KNOW what you are doing if you can finish it and then send it away. (Because you know you can build another.)
69 lbs. Beautiful brute!

Just a quick update on speed. Chronoed today, my draw with this bow is a little shorter than others, 30.5", 67#, 630 grain arrow. First shot, 192fps, all other within 1 fps. Seems very fast to me, 9.4 gpp of draw weight, hits hard and fast. Brandons bows not only look good, they perform as well.
