I was given ( yes, free is a good thing) 12 unfletched/cut GT 3555 arrows. I checked the spine calc. and cut them to 27.5, (3) 5" par feathers then topped it with woodsmans 125 w/75gr insert. My bow, Bob Lee takedown recurve 58" 56# @ 28". My draw is 27 so its about 52#. They match perfect on the calculator. I shot them and they shoot great. When I weighed them they came in at 455gr. My question is that too light?
My regular arrows weigh much more (605gr) and im just worried that Im stressing my bow. Arrow gr per inch comes out to 14grs per.
You are shooting 8 3/4 grains per inch. I wouldn't fret, the average here seems to be 9 to 11.

That is a good thing to feel weird about. Heavier kills anything light will but NOT vice versa.
If they shoot good I would use them. Thats plenty for deer IMO.

Have you tried them with different weight heads? I only ask because you still seem to be fretting. I have a bunch of different heads you could try out if you want. Going shooting at NORVA today, once I roust myself outta this dang chair.

That weight at 52# will get the job done on deer. If you are concerned about penetration, switch from the Woodsman to a two blade (Zwickey, Magnus, Bear, etc.), though the Woodsman will probably work as well.
My first deer was shot at 15 yards with a similar setup: 29" Carbon Express Terminator Hunter 4560, 125 grain Snuffer, 5" parabolic, three fletch from my 55# Mahaska longbow. I don't know the weight, but it couldn't have been more than about 550 grains. That was before I knew anything about spine, grains per pound, tuning, etc. I bought the arrows at Fleet Farm (precut)peeled off the vanes and fletched with feathers. The 4560 seemed like the right thing for my 55# bow. Thankfully, my bow was cut to center because those things are stiff as posts!
The arrow went through both lungs and buried 4" into the ground on the other side.
The bottom line is those will work and shouldn't hurt your bow, but they are not ideal. The bow will be louder, and as Richie insinuated, they won't penetrate as well as heavier arrows. If they shoot well and you can hit the spot, a deer won't get any deader with something else.
Just got back from range and they are shooting really tight. They are penetrating farther than my 600gr arrows.When I checked the spine calc. they are 19.6 FOC. Is that the reason for deeper penetration?
If so, these are my new deer arrows....
