Has or dose any of you owned a Goshawk from Cascade Archery it is a Truk style longbow. Any info. on this bow or this style of bow would be great.

Had one for a couple years. I like it a lot, but that design is not the most forgiving-really keeps me on my toes form-wise. Not the fastest bow I own, but a good compromise between speed and quiet, and the grip is absolutely perfect. It is my understanding that the Goshawk, like all Cascade bows, is made by Check-Mate and only the finish is applied by Cascade. Check out the Check-Mate Longhorn and then compare the prices. Mine is Bubinga and Zebrawood with Red Elm limbs, 60" 57#@28. Really cool looking bow and good shooter if you do your part, my #1 or #2 hunting bow.
