I found that I have 2 dozen Bear Hunter aluminum arrows that I know nothing about. They have a picture of a bear then the word hunter, under this they say 50-65#. Some have turnable nocks. Does anybody know anything about these? I think they were made in the 80's but not sure...Roy
Post a photo of them...
I'll get a picture of them when I get home from work tonight..
Here is a picture. Can anybody help?

Hey Roy,
I use the 8.5 metric hunter arrows to hunt with. If that is what those are I would be interested in buying them. If they are the 8.6 or 8.7's I have a friend that uses those for hunting. If you are interested in selling them please PM me. Thanks, Murray
Trooper,
I'm not sure what they are. They have the same o.d as a 2219, but the 2219 inserts are a little loose. I did find out they are metric...Roy
A 2117 insert will work in them, Roy. The Bear Metrics all had the same inside diameter as did the earlier Magnim series. The 2117 is not EXACTLY the same size as the original insert but they will work just fine-not quite as tight, but close. I guess I'm the friend Murray mentioned. These arrows are probably the equivelant of the 8.6 Metric Magnum at those numbers. This shaft is made of the old 24SRT gamegetter shaft- the Metric Magnums were X7- at the time, the highest grade Easton aluminum. They ran a hair stiffer than the Hunter series. Grant
I must have grabbed the wrong arrow and inserts to check the size with.. :banghead:
I did some digging and found some that have the bear, then this on them...8.6nn metric hunter...Roy
