Here are pics of my kids with the Youth bow made available to my kids by the generosity of so many. I had put my twins in and they won one. I had Mike at Maddog make a matching one so they could shoot together. He did a beautiful job and Mike at Mike's Archery Leather made two beautiful armguards and a backquiver.

Even my youngest gave it a try.

where does one get the armguards small enough for a little one? my son is 3 and he loves to shoot but his little arm gets red and puffy after awhile. i started using a sock with a slice of cardboard:) but its to stiff for him to move his arm around.

The ones Talondale shows in his pic are from a good 'Gang sponsor, Mike's Archery Leather.
Here is the page that shows his Youth Arm Guard:

Keep the little dude shooting. Blink just twice, and he'll be a Junior in college... don't ask how I know!

Great pics, Thanks.

No sir, thank you.
BTW what wood did you end up using in these bows? Sorry I was so indecisive, I just felt weird being picky about a bow being given to me.
Jesse, you'r situation was unique, you have twins, both wanting bows, one winning a drawing, and you wanted them to match, No problem, I'll work with that.
I used Mohogany, Not a good choice for a 55# hunting bow, but works great for the light ones. I actually got that wood with the Vermonster 13 youth bow program in mind. It's very pretty and nice to work with. I got it from another tradganger through a trade, about 20 pounds of it. The limbs are cedar, I usually use bamboo, but I was having one of those days and wanted to smell something nicer than ground up "grass", so I ground some cedar lams . (You know, aroma therapy, it works.)
Hey, congratulations, and thanks for sharing the pics!
Great stuff! All involved deserve a big THANK YOU>
