I believe she used to checker for Kimber....

Thought of getting that done to my Widow PSAX Osage and Kingwood. Might send one over when I'm feeling flush and test it out.

Just remember to do it on the side of the handle. If you do it on the "back" side where it presses into your palm you may not like the feeling.
Don't laugh, others have done it and not liked it afterwards.

Who is good at refinishing once the checkering is done, is there someone who will refinish a riser and does good work?? Iam thinking of having my Adcock Checkered.

Dalebow, you may want to contact Droptine59 from this forum, he does very nice work.
He also has a website, it may be on his profile page.

Hey guys, thanks, but the bow is not mine nor do I know who did the checkering. I just filed the picture because I liked it so much. Hope I didn't mislead anyone. Mike

Gorgeous work...unreal attention to detail...I've looked at her site before...what'd that little dandy cost ya, Bodork? I bet that's a piece where the adage, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" applies, huh? :)

Thanks Dan

I would check with Tracy at Ancient Spirits Archery he dose carvings and checkering

Awesome bow. I do not do checkering. Very tedious work. Most of it nowadays on gunstocks is done by a laser. You may want to try an oldschool gunsmith. I tell ya, no i am gonna try it. ya got my curiosity up..LOL
