Title: simmons broadheads
Post by: fountain on September 13, 2009, 06:19:00 PM
has anyone dealt with them in the last little while?  i called both numbers and got nothing.  i see you can order off the site, but want to be sure they are available before i try to get some.

i am looking for some 190's.  i got some 160's but want the 190 interceptors

They have went bankrupt and out of business... So if you can buy some somewhere you better get them because a guy came in our local archery shop last week and bought every thing in it with a simmons logo

I just got a set of 125 gr land sharks a couple of weeks ago through simmons on the internet. I had no problem.

yea that is what i saw too--it will allow you to check out on the net, but no phone wil go through.  i am guessing all they have listed is what they have left and they have what i want!  i am a little skeptical to try and order some as much scam stuff is going on now.  my wife does work in the books at the bank so she could keep a close check on it for me.

I think I e-mailed first and when I got a reply, I went ahead and ordered them.

If you like the simmons head, take a look at the head that Jim Neaves is selling. Go too Centaurarchery.com and have a look.

i have looked at them and they are pretty close to a simmons, just single bevel.  i have never tried a single bevel head though.  i may go that route.

Don't give up on Simmons yet, that company has a way of coming back from the dead!

I have never tried to order anything from them, but the website site is different from the last time I looked and it says they are taking orders.

i did e-mail them.  waiting for an answer.  i really like the 190--never shot anything with them-but i like em!  killed a lot with the 160 but the design of the 190 is better to me and others have said it is better in penetration over the 160.

still no word from them.  thinking i will just sell the 160s and get the ones from centaur to try them out.  they may be really hard to get tuned out as big as they are though

Not me, I am retired again and I plan to stay retired this time. I just believe that any product as good as the Simmons heads are will not pass to nothing, someone is bound to pick it up.

i certainly hope so.  they are great heads, but kinda hard to sharpen.  i still like the design and wish they will come back!
