I really think I'm ready for this hunting season, I got my first longbow kill the other day while out tree rat hunting,This is how I pratice for deer and bear season and hone my shooting and stalking skills!!! WARNING: the pic is not for the weak of stomach!

Congratulations. I got my first trad kill the same way, just the other day. No photo's unfortunately but a perfect head shot. The little bugger kept coming into the kitchen of the camp where I live. Can't have hairy tailed rats in the kitchen so the stalk was on and made the shot. Other cooks (city folk) just didn't understand :bigsmyl: Great shooting and go get some more.

good shot. chipmunks are fast. i have shot at em with my pellet gun and they move before the pellet gets there.

Tree Rat hunting is lots of fun. It's a good test of your big game bow and arrow combo also.
