Lets see if this works.
Great it did work. I finally figured it out.hehe
I have not recieved the bow yet as it is in the mail but had some downtime to let you see the picture that Brain sent me.
The Bow is 70#@29 it was made with lacewood riser and limbs with carbon backing. I have some canebreak skins that I will put on when i get the bow. Looks like great work Brian, thanks for going with the carbon.
Beautiful bow! What are the woods involved? Do I see snakewood?
The unstrung limbs profile puts me in mind of the terrific Sley recurve that is no longer being made. Does anyone else see a resemblance?
Congrats on a fine bow, Micheal!
Daryl
Sorry, I was typing my question as you were already posting the answer!
Daryl I love your quote. One of my favorites from an amazing and selfless servant of the one true God.
Sweet!! Looks like it should smoke an arrow!!
Very nice indeed, keep up the good work.
Michael,
That is a beautiful bow. Word is they are GREAT shooters.
I sure wish I had me one of them TallTines bows.
Hint, Hint, Hint (:
Billy
I spoke with Brian a couple of weeks ago and he is very professional. Was thinking of a plainone with diamondwood and brown glass, bu after seeing this one, I may have to get fancy!
Nice bow! Congrats
B.
:biglaugh: Billy!
I'm glad I found Brian before the rest of you, my second set of twins in in the que...
Who makes these?
Brian Wessel--do a member search for Talltines and you can PM him. He has had some "issues" with the guy doing his website, so he now has a new guy, who is doing a bang-up job, and should have it done real soon.
Brian Wessel is the bowyer brianwessel@ymail.com. I am in the process of designing his website (I'm the new guy). If I'm not mistaken the bow up top is Leopard Wood.
Brian is getting me some things together for the site and it will be well on its way in a week or so. You can watch its progress. Here's the address.

Steve O,
Brian is working on it, but you know how that goes....they never work as fast as we'd like them too, but it will be worth the wait.
I'm just glad I ordered when I did. I'm sure Brian is completely covered up by now.
looks just like a silvertip to me..whats the riser length 14?
Steve,
First glances are deceiving...I thought that too. There is plenty of difference; especially in the limbs. It is too late and mine is in the truck, but I can measure it tomorrow. Do you go from bolt hole to bolt hole or end of riser to end of riser?
Tip to tip the riser is 15".
Brian makes an awesome looking bow, and from all reports and great shooting and performing bow!
Hope to try out a lefty and see for myself soon :notworthy:
Great jod on the site TJ. I got the bow today and will try it out tonight.
Sweet looking bow!
Nice looking bow. Any updates on the bow's performance? Any other pics?
I'm having Brian make me a take-down 64" recurve. Bubinga and ebony riser. The limb veneers were cut from the same stock of waterfall bubinga I used on the one-piece I made for myself. Brian is off hunting in Montana and should finish the bow as soon as he gets back. I see the bow pictured on the right on talltinesarchy.com photos is Biggie's 64" bow Brian made for him a few weeks ago.
I would also be interested in an update on the bow's performance. What's the wait time with Brian now? If anyone has any pics of their TallTines, let's see em!!
Thanks, Jr.
That is a good looking bow.....waiting patiently myself....
Thanks Michael, I've got the guts of the site up and running. Brian and I have some more to add but the main info is now there. Check it out when you guys get a chance.

tj....the site looks great!
nice site TJ, the bow on the first post looks to be Lacewood.
Brian coming to Kzoo by any chance?
Oops. The second bow that I posted was my schafer that I sold a while ago.
Drew, Brian left yesterday for Montana on an Elk/Mule Deer hunt. Not sure if he's going to the Kzoo show or not. I'm sure he will chime in when he returns.
Oh yeah if anyone has any really good clear digital harvest picts with your TallTines bow in them I would love to add them to the website on the customers success page.
Just email them to me at tnjoutdoors@yahoo.com
Thanks T.J.
