Goose Season opened in Michigan and after 4 misses a group of 5 came in. As they flaried over the decoys I got my shot at 18 yards.

Great Job
we had a news story last week of a goose with a arrow going grom back to front in it just inside the wing area. The arrow had a field point on it.
Im sure peta got riled up.

I only shoot broadheads at these boys!!! as far as I'm concered never EVER hunt anything with field points!!! This head was a little Zawicky 4 blade with the bleeders bent out to make an "L" shape on the side of the main blades. I've shot ducks with this type of head but this was my first goose and it seemed to work pretty well! But a pain to sharpen :-)

I've been thinking about this topic since yesterday. Decided the way I shoot, I'm going to need more arrows.
