And with deer season right around the corner, I'm just excited as all heck.
Dressed out at just under 4oz, and put up a courageous fight. Measurements have been sent to P&Y, we might just make the books on this fella.
Just want to thank my guide and good friend Frassettor for being my eyes and ears as I bore down on the beast.
Bow was 67# RD Custom, I think I may have been underpowered on the shot...

I think mine was 3.5 oz...P&Y results won't be back for a while. :archer:
Great shot, :notworthy: that will make a deer look huge!!
I tell you what, I took no less than 20 shots on those little buggers yesterday and didn't hit a single one. Ranges were 5-20 yards, and I must've missed each one by an average of an inch or less.
... I considered it a raging success that I missed by so little, so many times.
Alas, it would have been nice to draw first blood with the pronghorn!
Kill the wabit, kill the wabit, oh no Ive killed the wabit.
Good shooting!
Good shooting. I blew my chance Sunday. :( Missed one over the back about 1" at 15 yd. I would blame the miss on it ducking the arrow, but I don't know they are 1" off the ground to start. :D
congrats
good shooting Chris
