Let me start by saying that a group of a dozen or so members of our archery club and myself will be making the trip south.there is also some interest from other clubs in the area. and a few other sites on the web. please post if you are going to make the trip, along with others in your group. Mike
My son Dylan and I plan to be there for the 3rd anyway.
Bomofo.... I hope you're planning to get patches made for that logo! That's one of the coolest I've seen. If you do, I'd love to get one to add to my patch collection for the archery club patch quilt I'm making. Wish I weren't impossibly far away, I'd love to join you all.
Dick
This is the first annual GOSH we'll see how it goes this year! I have my neck out with shirts and buttons. When and If I get patches I will make sure you get one. How is the H.H.Long bowmen going?

All available funds are going to a 12 year old girl at Cincinnati Children s Hospital. Tori who has cystic fibrosis and is in need of a liver transplant. the expenses are mounting and they need help. she is in constant pain But never complains about it.her biggest wish is to go deer hunting with her uncles.money raised at the Gosh is going to the family to ease the burden Mike
ttt
Torie is doing pretty good. She has her good days and her bad days. She gets tired very easily and that bugs the heck out of her. She would rather run than walk and usually if she can't run, she won't go. Torie goes to school 2-3 days a week for 1/2 day and then is tutored the rest of the time. They have to go to Cincinnati Children's Hospital soon for an evaluation and to have some kind of bands wrapped around her liver. I'm not sure what that procedure is all about, I just know she has to have it done periodically.
Hearing of the generosity from the OSTA family overwhelmed them tremendously
I'll be there.
Up 4 Dan!
Up for bicster

Thanks Mark! you may have started something? This is exactly what I was hoping would happen I'm sure I'll have some cool; stuff to Raffle also! Mike
Any Ideas how to get the word out?
Mike, I ran a directory search on this site and, sorted members by location....there are 3 pages of members from Ohio. There is a PM option for each name. I will cut and paste an invite and link to this thread.....in case anyone has missed it or has not been on the site lately.(notification of PM should go to their primary email address). I'll add a request to "tell a friend" and let them know we are raising money for Tori. Let me know what you think? I can get started on it tonight.
I am sure there are more ideas out there!
We think alike!

good shootin. Woohoo it time to get em.
Sweet - sounds fun.
That pic. was sent to my phone from Ty Sims. he will be sending another of a nice buck he shot on opening day!
(http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r267/bowmofo/0926092104-1.jpg)Here is the deer Ty shot on opening day with the bow he just made (pictured above)
good shootin. I like that finger on it's G2 on the left side.
the G3 on his left did not develop, the growth went to the tip instead would have been a typical 8pt. still a descent Buck for a Self made Osage Bow on the ground @ 10 feet! True Woodsmanship indeed!
:clapper:
WAY TO GO TY!
I'm sure we will hear the long story at this weekends Campfire! :campfire:
Dag on that is good. And that is a trophy no matter how big.
Ed and jimmy will be going down early Thursday to gather fire wood :campfire: we will be needing lots of that !
I hate to say this but it looks like a scheduling conflict (actually several) will keep Dylan and me in town this weekend. No GOSH for us this year. Sorry about that.
Jim I hope to see you both at the Deer Hunt in November. Until then, ~Happy Hunting~
Mike, tell TY congrats for me will ya. Looks like I gotta bow out this weekend.
Like flies, like flies I tell ya. Miranda and I will be down either late friday night. Or first thing saturday morning. I dont mind setting the tent up by the head lights, just not in the rain. :banghead:
