I have a 50# @ 28 Predator recurve and am currently shooting aluminum. I have Legacy 2117's cut at 30 inches with a 145 grain tip. I am bare shaft tuning this arrow and its hitting the target nock right consistently but not far from straight. I'd hate to add more weight and they are cut longer than I would like. I talked to 3rivers and they said to hold the bow straight up and down when bare shaft tuning and that the 2117's are a good fit for the bow. It did help a lot, but they could be better tuned.
I appreciate your thoughts.
I am shooting a 65# and 3r recommended the same arrow for me wsith a 125 tip. so if anything you may be a bit stiff I am tuning tomorrow but I have to review kick left or right. There are few tuning manuals out there if you do a search. One indicates to concentrate on form than on arrow kick if you hitting your mark. I am still in the learning phase so not sure if I just made it worse for you.
I'd try a 175 gn.tip and see how that does.
If it is still stiff, you could try raising your brace height a little bit.
If it is still too stiff after that, an even heavier head will be needed or a switch to a 2018 shaft may be the ticket.

Get yourself a copy of Masters of the Barebow II and follow Ken Beck's instructions - a bit tedious but worth it.
