Title: Shreveport 3D?

Gonna be working in Shreveport Louisiana for a few weeks, anybody know if there's any 3D to be had up there?

I've heard of one either on Barksdale AFB or close to it.  Never been there myself but I have heard thier tourneys are not acceptable to the local associations or state ones....something about crazy long shots.  Who knows?  You might call up the Basspro Shop over there and ask their archery guy.

there is a 3-d club in Shreveport   http://redriverbowmenarcheryclub.com/default.aspx

they have shoots as well as the airforce base. Both are fun places to shoot

You need to call Paul Williamson at 318-453-0991 for directions to the shoot at Barksdale Air Force Base.  He will also add your name to the list so you don't have any trouble at the gate.  They have a shoot on Sunday, Sept. 27.  I would call at least a week ahead to get on the list.

If you don't mind a little drive, there's a good shoot in West Monroe on the 12th of September.  It's for a good cause as well.  Here's a link:

Thanks all of you for the great suggestions. I'm working weekends, off monday & tuesday so can't make the Sept 12 event. Will call the AFB & Red River Bowmen.
