Title: Sanding supplies
Post by: Crooked Stic on January 05, 2007, 06:29:00 PM
I am in bad need of some 50 grit sanding hard sleeves for my spindle sander. The Sears store here has quit handling them and 60 grit is the coursest grit I have found so far. Anyone have a source?

Try  http://www.ptreeusa.com/abrasive_list.htm

If you don't already have one, you gotta try the "microplane rotary sander".  Neatest thing to come along since indoor ........well, it's cool!

Woodworker Supply has a custom shop in Casper? that is phenomenal and often I was able to get CUSTOM belts for less!!!  They even have a wide selection of abrasive materials.

I've been buying from Redhill Corporation for about 10 years now.  They have been pretty good to deal with and have just about every sanding supply that I have ever needed and very good pricing. dino
