I am looking for a good hang-on treestand that has a leveling feature like the Gametamers out of Fort Worth Texas. They are not answering calls and I guess have gone out of business. Its a shame because their stuff is great. I have a quadpod from them and it is portable, quiet, and very comfortable. With all of the different mfg's out there someone has to have a good stand that will lock on to these gnarley live-oaks that we have here in the south.
I thought Lone Wolf did that. I don't know because I have never owned one but I thought I saw it advertixed that way in the past.
You want a Climax treestand. Best stand out there IMO, works on any tree - level and rock solid. Search on Yahoo for current manufacturer, I think they are around 100 bucks now. I have 10 of them and I'm going to pick up a few more this spring with a chainsaw (4-5 currently grown into trees on Dad's farm from hanging too long).
You won't find a better stand for small/crooked trees.

The Lone Wolf has a few "notches" you can move the base to in order to level it - always been level when I used mine.
Thanks for the info guys. I like the looks of the climax Ryan...I have a call into them. Thank you.
Try the Timbertall Treestands. I bought one 3 years ago and will never use another stand. They are exceptionally sturdy, are ultra light in weight (mine weighs only 12lbs), and you can level both the climber and the standing portion. They aren't the cheapest around, but I can't speak highly enough about them. I've tried my friend's Summit's and they just don't hold a candle to the Timbertall.
