Title: What are these eastons??
Post by: jhg on September 02, 2009, 09:22:00 AM
I was just given some Easton Gamegetter arrows (NOT xx75's) that are solid green. The name on them is simply Gamegetter along with the size (2216).

Are these xx75's or an earlier version?

Thanks

Joshua

Joshua, sounds like they are the old gamegetters which were solid green and more than likely the old 24SRTX aluminum which isn't quite up to snuff as the xx75.  They are good to go, don't be afraid to use them................Shick

Yep, those are the old non-xx75 Gamegetter.  The finish is not hard-anodized so after a little bit of shooting into target bales the finish will wear off to the plain aluminum. Eric.

Yeah, what Eric says. That's what us old folks started with! In the seventies they where the best . Alot of game taken with. Not as durable, but good to shoot and I can straighten by hand pretty good with them. Good shootin, Steve
