Title: Gone Bear Hunting
Post by: BowMIke on September 02, 2009, 09:14:00 AM
I will be leaving in the morning for Sioux Lookout, Ontario to go bear hunting. Between the fishing and the hunting it should be a great time. There will be three other bowhunters along. They all choose to use compounds on this hunt, although two of them like to shoot Trad also. I have been there hunting many times and it is always a wonderful experience. The different environment and diversity of the wildlife makes it worth the trip by itself. Last time I videod four different bears and everyone in our group had multple bears come in.
I plan to shoot my 57# Morrison Shawnee Longbow with 56" limbs on this trip.
See you when I return on the 14th.

Had a good trip to Ontario a couple of years ago with Leroy Carlson.  Headed up to New Brunswick next Saturday.
