Hey mikey be sure to bring one in my weight range next time we shoot together...man i hope its not until winter bow :(
Can't wait to shoot one buddy!
thanks bentpole --and for the record you should shoot it with your eyes open--and deadbolt-i'm gearin up for colorado right now--so we'll have to figure on early bow when i get back -
Deadbolt I shot a couple rounds with the TANK KILLER. I think it's 60#'s @ 28!!?? Even with my bum shoulder the bow drew smooth as a babies behind! :scared: First 2 shots I burried the bullseye @ what 20 Yards? I told Mikey I'll sell my Widow PLV and order 2 of his! Awesome Bow . This man has GOLDEN HANDS! :clapper:
Great Bow and fast too. We shot together at Whittingham. Really a nice bow
Well then I'll have to shoot a 60# and a 50# @ 28" and how this old mans shoulders hold up LOL
I knew my hunting buddy was on to something when his longbow competed very well with others in a bow test.
He shot 2 deer last year with his 48# bow, quiet, smooth, stable and this "newer" one is pretty dam quick. The best part...no handshock and it will compete with the "name" bows w/o the R/D.
Now...if I can only convince him to build a one piece recurve I can sell here in the shop..between the 2 of us we should come up with a great design for performance.
Wishing Mikey and Southpawshooter the best of luck in Colorado..DYI Elk....Now this should be some interesting reading here on TG! :scared:
Mike makes a great bow and is a great guy to boot  :clapper:
Oh man mike and scott on a DIY Elk hunt...now that's what I call fun! Can't wait for these stories!!
Question what kind of bow is it a traditional D? What does the handle look like I can't remember from the last time I saw em.
The only problem Tommy...who do you believe when they return! :scared:  :saywhat:
Joe I won't believe either but I bet we'll have some laughs from it lol
Hey STiffrod!!! After the hunt...we'll hit the Flatbrook for some huge Calzones, Buffalo Wings and the "good stuff". We'll see how many times the stories change...especially from Scott! Tommy...your welcome to come and enjoy the lies..er..I mean stories. :readit: :saywhat:
:goldtooth: :goldtooth:
Mike's made some fantastic bows from the get go & a nicer guy you'll never meet.
Get after 'em in Co. Mike!
Larry

Good luck out west Mike and Co. I am still hunting with the Bear Grizzly I got from you for my birthday a bunch of years ago. One of these days I will get one of your longbows. I liked the first one you made and they only seem to have gotten better. Bring back some good stories.
Tony
