Was cruising Youtube and found this clip.

It's a good video. One slow motion segment shows the arrow "paradoxing" at release and the rest is the amazing speed and accuracy of the Hungarian archer, Lajos Kassai.
Wow that was very cool.
Man is that guy fast or what
WOW!
12 arrows 17seconds and he hit every target. that was some of the most impressive shooting i have seen. fast
Very impressive.
That guy is the Jerry Michulek of archery! Very impressive!
:notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: He could take out an entire deer herd on horseback!
He definately has it goin' on!
I saw this and thought the guy should change his name to "Legolas" Kassai. :)
Wow!!!!!
Is that the stunt double from The Last Samurai? :jumper: That's just too cool.
Grasshopper learned well , from me!!! :goldtooth: :goldtooth:
Awesome !! :archer:
absolutely UNREAL!
Wow!
Ok so whose going out and buying a horsebow. Would love to see the accuracy at more of a realistic distance. Horse archers rarely got that close to their targets. Cool video though.
What about the guys form, I dont shoot very well if i dont hit a good anchor, dosent look to me that this guy has an anchor.
His anchor is down around his chest. Not all archery disciplines use a corner of the mouth anchor like we are used to seeing.

At longer distances, the only thing horse archers were trying to hit was "the other army".
Pretty fair sized target...

I'd guess that an anchor just weighs him down. :)
I noticed that the fellow also shoots what looks to be a fairly light weight bow for the exhibition. This may just be a safety precaution. Lot's of spectators and crew to potentially stop a stray arrow.
It also looks like he passes the next arrow between the string and bow on a reload. Kind of cool, if true.
